Greetings to all and Happy New Year! It is so hard to believe that 2009 is over and 2010 is just upon us! What an amazing year that 2009 and was! God poured
out His blessings upon Stone Station Baptist Church in 2009. It just proves that when the church and the hearts of the people are focused upon God's plan,
purpose, and will, God will do things that were never expected!
In 2010, we will be modifying our vision to more clearly define what it is that we as a church feel God leading us to do for Him. That vision and mission will
include a greater focus upon evangelism, discipleship, benevolence, military support, and missions efforts. With and expanded focus in these areas, there
will naturally be additional areas for people to serve in to accomplish God's will and plan for our church.
One promise that I re-commit myself to is the promise that I made seven years ago when I came to Stone Station Baptist Church. We are going to do things
God's way! Not my way, not the Deacons' way, not one man or one family's way, but God's way. As we move ahead, the Lord is leading us to MINISTRY and
meeting needs, both spiritual and physical, of people who need a special touch from the Lord. Thus, it is my heart's pure desire to follow His leadership and
to do that which the Lord has purposed and planned to do.
I encourage all of you to pray for our new ministries and new ministry teams. They have committed to God's vision for our church, and as such there will be
greater work and effort needed in 2010! However, we know from whence cometh our help! It comes from the Lord, and He will provide everything that we
need.
